The PET Center primarily focuses on human diagnostic examinations, serving both patient care and research, as well as conducting experimental measurements. Additionally, we perform human and animal model studies that are essential for drug development research.
In order to provide service-oriented care, Medicopus Nonprofit Ltd. cooperates with all other healthcare and educational institutions, municipalities, regulatory authorities, and insurers.
Our institute has a unique PET/MR device unparalleled in Hungary, and there are less than 180 such devices worldwide. This state-of-the-art equipment is dedicated to diagnostic purposes, providing advanced imaging capabilities for precise and comprehensive evaluations.
The activities of Medicopus Nonprofit Ltd. are carried out using state-of-the-art equipment such as the Siemens Eclipse cyclotron, a fully equipped radiochemistry laboratory, Siemens Biograph Vision 450 PET/CT, and one of the most advanced PET/MR devices in Hungary, the Siemens Biograph 3T mMR.
The Medicopus PET Center operates in a building constructed in 2014, fully meeting modern scientific standards and user comfort requirements, serving healing and prevention with the latest hybrid imaging machines (Biograph Vision 450 PET/CT, Biograph mMR PET/MR).
At this site, we primarily perform NEAK-supported and privately financed high-tech PET/CT examinations, as well as scans on one of the country's most modern 3T MRI units.
The services provided by Medicopus Nonprofit Ltd. can be accessed by patients partially within the framework of healthcare financed by NEAK (National Health Insurance Fund), and partially for a fee. The professional background is ensured by nuclear medicine specialists and radiologists with extensive experience and skilled radiographers.
The ownership practitioner of Medicopus Kft. is the Kaposi Mór Training Hospital in Somogy County, which is one of the leading healthcare institutions in the South Transdanubian region due to its traditions and continuous renewal.
